Gim finished 5-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Lisa Parent (Calgary, AB) 7-2, then won 6-5 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-4 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 7-3 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Gim responded with a 7-6 win over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-5 against Jentsch to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic Championship title, Gim earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque. Gim move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 24.875 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 7th overall with 248.212 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
