Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR) won 7-2 over Simon Granbom (Gavle, SWE) in the Final of the Sundbyberg Open, held October 28 - 30, 2022 in Sundbyberg, Sweden. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Harstad won 8-0 over Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) to advance to the championship game. of the 2022 Sundbyberg Open in Sundbyberg, Sweden;

Harstad finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harstad defeated Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 8-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Eirik Oey (Oppdal, NOR). Harstad lost 6-5 to Sweden's Michael Roxin in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Sundbyberg Open Championship title, Harstad earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Harstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Harstad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
