Maia Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR) lost 5-3 to Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the Euro Super Series, held August 18 - 21, 2022 in Stirling, Scotland. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Ramsfjell won 7-5 over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) to advance to the championship game. of the 2022 Euro Super Series in Stirling, Scotland;

Ramsfjell finished 5-0 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsfjell defeated Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) 5-3, then won 7-5 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) and 9-0 against Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO). Ramsfjell won 8-1 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO), then won 7-5 against Jaeggi in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Euro Super Series, Ramsfjell take home 22.000 world rankings points along with the $6,135CDN prize. For week 3 of the event schedule, Ramsfjell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ramsfjell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
