Karoliine Kaare/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaare/Lill defeated Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) 10-4, then went on to lose 8-7 against Liga Avena/Aivars Avotins (Riga, LAT).
