Kean finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kean defeated Francis Hawco (Ottawa, ON) 5-2, then won 6-3 against Raphael Patry (Saguenay , QC) and 4-2 against Lauren Horton (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
