Csilia Halasz (Budapest, HUN) qualified for the 2022 WCT Latvia International Challenger playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). of the 2022 WCT Latvia International Challenger in Tukums, Latvia;

Halasz finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Halasz defeated Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) 6-5, then went on to lose 12-3 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). Halasz responded with a 8-7 win over Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO). Halasz went on to lose 8-2 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Halasz earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WCT Latvia International Challenger. For week 12 of the event schedule, Halasz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Halasz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
