Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) finished 1-3 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik lost 6-4 to Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE) where Craik responded with a 5-4 win over Sixten Totzek (Baden Baden, GER). Craik went on to lose 7-7 against Kim Schwaller (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Craik earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 180th place overall with 13.299 total points. Craik ranks 208th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.875 points earned so far this season.
