To advance to the championship game, Veltsman won 6-5 over Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) in the semifinals of the 2022 WCT Latvia International Challenger in Tukums, Latvia; and won 7-6 over Axel Landelius (Mjölby, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 WCT Latvia International Challenger in Tukums, Latvia;
Veltsman finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Veltsman defeated Verreycken 12-2, then won 9-3 against Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT). Veltsman went on to lose 10-8 against Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT). Veltsman responded with a 9-2 win over Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the WCT Latvia International Challenger, Veltsman take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,081CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Veltsman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Veltsman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
