James Craik (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2022 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI). of the 2022 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Craik finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Benny Kapp (Fuessen/Oberstdorf , GER) 10-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Craik lost 8-4 to Stocker where Craik responded with a 6-0 win over Dean Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Craik earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Craik ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.000 points earned so far this season.
