Ahrenberg responded with a 7-2 win over Elina Virtaala (Joensuu, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ahrenberg earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.604 after improving upon their best so far this season. Ahrenberg ranks 287th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.604 points earned so far this season.
