To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-4 over Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Saville Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-3 over Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
Homan finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR) 7-2, then won 6-4 against Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-2 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Homan won 6-3 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), then won 5-4 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Saville Shoot-Out, Homan take home 35.750 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 249.078 total points.
