In their opening game, Martin/Laycock defeated Samantha Yachiw/Jordan Raymond (Saskatoon, SK) 9-4, then won 10-4 against Ashley Howard/Dustin Mikush (Regina, SK) and 10-8 against Melissa Remeshylo/Dylan Derksen (Martensville, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium SaskTour Series Mixed Doubles Championship title, Martin/Laycock earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque.
