Springer/Springer finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Springer/Springer defeated Armstrong/Stewart 8-5, then went on to lose 8-7 against Skylar Ackerman/James Gordon (Saskatoon, SK). Springer/Springer responded with a 9-5 win over Taylor Stremick/Cody Sutherland (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
