CHAMPION: Martin/Griffith Wins 2022 Service Experts Shootout

Nancy Martin/Tyrel Griffith (Saskatoon, SK) won 9-2 over Kerri Einarson/Brad Jacobs (Gimli, MB) in the Final of the Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series, held November 17 - 20, 2022 in Leduc, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Martin/Griffith won 8-4 over Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2022 Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Leduc, Alberta; and won 9-2 over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Leduc, Alberta;

Martin/Griffith finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin/Griffith defeated Ashley Thevenot/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) 8-6, then won 7-3 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) and 9-4 against Walker/Muyres. Martin/Griffith won 8-5 against Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series Championship title, Martin/Griffith earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 16 of the event schedule, Martin/Griffith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Martin/Griffith ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
