Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck (Strathroy, ON) finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuck/Tuck lost 7-0 to Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI), then responded with a 7-4 win over Sherry Just/Dean Grindheim (Prince Albert, SK). Tuck/Tuck went on to lose 9-7 against Karoliine Kaare/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Tuck/Tuck responded with a 8-2 win over Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Tuck/Tuck earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 16 of the event schedule, Tuck/Tuck did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tuck/Tuck ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
