To advance to the championship game, Einarson/Jacobs won 5-3 over Lisa Weagle/John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Leduc, Alberta; and won 7-6 over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Leduc, Alberta;
Einarson/Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson/Jacobs defeated Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) 6-3, then won 9-2 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Einarson/Jacobs went on to lose 6-5 against Weagle/Epping. Einarson/Jacobs responded with a 6-4 win over Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Service Experts Shootout - Mixed Doubles Super Series, Einarson/Jacobs take home 38.500 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 16 of the event schedule, Einarson/Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Einarson/Jacobs ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
