Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON) finished 2-2 in the 25-team qualifying round. . Homan/Tardi responded with a 9-7 win over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Homan/Tardi earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Homan/Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan/Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
