To advance to the championship game, Kitz/Stewart won 10-5 over Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Winnipeg Open - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-5 over Ashley Thevenot/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Winnipeg Open - Mixed Doubles Super Series in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Kitz/Stewart finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz/Stewart defeated Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) 10-4, then won 8-5 against Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska , MN) and 7-6 against Mikaylah Lyburn/William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB). Kitz/Stewart won 10-6 against Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
