Heistad lost 10-3 to Dallas Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NO) where Heistad responded with a 6-5 win over Timothy Marin (Saint John, NB). Heistad won 7-5 against Leandre Girard (Victoria, QC), then won 6-3 against Chris Parkinson (Comox Valley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
