Fortin lost 7-6 to Savanna Taylor (Saskatoon, SK). Fortin lost 7-6 to Pearl Gillis (Inuvik, NT) where Fortin responded with a 8-7 win over Elizabeth Cyr (Laval, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
