Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) qualified for the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON).

Horgan finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Sebastien Robillard (Port Coquitlam, BC) 6-3, then won 7-4 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Horgan went on to lose 5-3 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Horgan lost 7-4 to Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI) where Horgan responded with a 8-4 win over Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Horgan won 5-3 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Horgan earned 19.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Major, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 144.010 total points. Horgan ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.500 points earned so far this season.
