Sergio Serafini (Trentino, ITA) qualified for the 2022 World Senior Mens Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-2 against Mats Wrana (Stockholm, SWE).

Serafini finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Serafini defeated Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS) 6-2, then won 9-1 against Timo Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 10-7 against Fikret Catak (Erzurum, TUR). Serafini went on to lose 12-2 against Bob Leclair (Tempe, USA). Serafini lost 9-3 to Wade White (Edmonton, CAN) where Serafini responded with a 7-6 win over Milan Bubenik (Bratislava, SVK) in their final qualifying round match.

Serafini ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
