To advance to the championship game, Saskatchewan's Sam Wills/Garret Springer won 6-5 over Alberta's Evan van Amsterdam/Gregg Hamilton in the semifinals of the 2022 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
