Paetz went on to lose 8-6 against Chiaki Matsumura (Nagano, JPN). Paetz responded with a 7-2 win over Finland's Lotta Immonen. Paetz won 9-3 against Jasmin Lander (Hvidovre, DEN). Paetz went on to lose 9-3 against Ramsfjell. Paetz responded with a 11-7 win over Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA). Paetz won 11-3 against Natalie Thurlow (Naseby, NZL), then won 9-2 against Minji Kim (Gangwon-do, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, Paetz take home 70.904 world rankings points, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 109.436 total points. Paetz ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 109.436 points earned so far this season.
