Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) won 6-4 over Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) in the Final of the Summer Series, held August 26 - 29, 2022 in St-Felicien, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 7-3 over Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals
Tirinzoni finished 4-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Lauren Horton (Montreal, QC) 7-3, then won 6-4 against Laurie St-Georges (Laval-sur-la-Lac, QC) and 8-2 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Tirinzoni won 5-2 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Summer Series Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 202.153 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.750 points earned so far this season.
