Martin/Griffith finished 3-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin/Griffith lost 9-8 to Lauren Cheal/Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC), then responded with a 8-2 win over Bobbie Sauder/Sam Wills (Edmonton, AB). Martin/Griffith won 7-1 against Cotter/Cotter, then won 8-4 against Christie Gamble/Tyler Gamble (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Aly Jenkins Memorial - Mixed Doubles Super Series Championship title, Martin/Griffith earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque.
