Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) lost 6-5 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Ladies Alberta Open, held November 11 - 13, 2022 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. Scheidegger finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Kaylee McNamee (Calgary, AB) 7-6, then won 8-4 against Lisa Parent (Calgary, AB) and 8-2 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Scheidegger won 7-4 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ladies Alberta Open, Scheidegger take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Scheidegger did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 11th place on the World Ranking Standings with 182.547 total points.
