Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC) won 8-4 over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the Twin Anchors Houseboats Classic, held November 11 - 13, 2022 in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Joanisse won 7-4 over Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals
Joanisse finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joanisse defeated Longworth 8-6, then went on to lose 6-5 against Rob Nobert (VERNON, BC). Joanisse responded with a 6-1 win over Chris Medford (Kimberley, BC). Joanisse won 9-2 against Dave Belway (Salmon Arm, BC), then won 6-5 against Nobert in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Twin Anchors Houseboats Classic Championship title, Joanisse earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 15 of the event schedule, Joanisse did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Joanisse ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
