In their opening game, Nobert lost 7-3 to Colton Flasch (Saskatoon , SK), then responded with a 5-4 win over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Nobert went on to lose 9-4 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Nobert responded with a 9-3 win over Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Nobert won 6-3 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Nobert went on to lose 9-3 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
