Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 6-5 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the Final of the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup, held May 2 - 7, 2023 in Regina, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 9-2 over Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 7-6 over Sara McManus (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup in Regina, Saskatchewan;
Homan finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Peterson 7-4, then went on to lose 10-0 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Homan lost 10-8 to McManus where Homan responded with a 6-3 win over Marianne Roervik (Oslo, NOR). Homan won 7-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup Championship title, Homan earned 67.500 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 37.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 368.250 points earned so far this season.
