Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) lost 6-5 to Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) in the Final of the Princess Auto Players' Championship, held April 11 - 16, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 6-3 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2023 Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 7-5 over Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
Tirinzoni finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni lost 8-5 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) where Tirinzoni responded with a 8-7 win over Wrana. Tirinzoni won 6-5 against Chelsea Carey (Lethbridge, AB), then won 7-1 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Princess Auto Players' Championship, Tirinzoni take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN prize, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 24.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 415.000 points earned so far this season.
