To advance to the championship game, Dropkin won 5-2 over Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 3-2 over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Dropkin finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dropkin defeated Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) 4-1, then won 7-3 against Chang-Min Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR). Dropkin went on to lose 6-3 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK). Dropkin responded with a 7-2 win over Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 Championship title, Dropkin earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. Dropkin move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 16.5 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 11th overall with 183.996 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
