To advance to the championship game, Sluchinski won 5-2 over Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 6-5 over Mike McEwen (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
Sluchinski finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sluchinski defeated Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) 5-1, then won 6-4 against McEwen and 6-3 against Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Sluchinski won 6-1 against Scott Webb (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2, Sluchinski take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize.
