Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB) lost 8-2 to Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) in the Final of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2, held October 18 - 23, 2022 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Hunkin won 5-4 over Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals   of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 9-2 over Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; 
 
Hunkin finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hunkin lost 6-5 to Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN), then responded with a 6-3 win over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Hunkin won 5-2 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), then won 7-6 against Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2, Hunkin take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize. Hunkin move up 12 spots after posting a net gain of 22.625 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 25th overall with 106.901 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Hunkin ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 49.125 points earned so far this season.
