Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) won 8-2 over Jessie Hunkin (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2, held October 18 - 23, 2022 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Grandy won 8-5 over Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in the semifinals of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 7-4 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
Grandy finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grandy lost 7-6 to Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB), then responded with a 6-2 win over Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Grandy won 7-1 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-3 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 Championship title, Grandy earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Grandy ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 103.500 points earned so far this season.
