Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) run at the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Grande Prairie, Alberta; Gushue advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-4 win over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO). of the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Grande Prairie, Alberta;

Gushue finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) 9-3, then won 8-4 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) and 6-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Gushue won 7-3 against Mouat in their final qualifying round match.

Gushue earned 38.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 495.047 total points. Gushue ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 134.500 points earned so far this season.
