In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) 9-2, then won 6-3 against Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) and 8-6 against Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). Tirinzoni won 7-3 against Lawes in their final qualifying round match.
