Ukraine's Vadym Marchenko lost 10-6 to United States's Herman Fuechtmann in the Final of the World Deaf Curling Championships - Men, held March 19 - 26, 2022 in Banff, Alberta.

Ukraine's Vadym Marchenko finished 5-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ukraine's Vadym Marchenko defeated Poland's Tomasz Guminski 11-3, then won 9-6 against Korea's Deoksoon Kim and 10-6 against Switzerland's Christoph Sidler. Ukraine's Vadym Marchenko won 7-6 against Canada's Ross LaVallee, then won 10-9 against United States's Herman Fuechtmann in their final qualifying round match.
