Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) lost 9-3 to Mike Siggins (Tempe, AZ) in the Final of the USA Curling Club National Championships, held March 21 - 27, 2022 in Eveleth, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Sobering won 8-2 over Benj Guzman (Wayland, MA) in the semifinals of the 2022 USA Curling Club National Championships in Eveleth, Minnesota;
 
Sobering finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sobering defeated Brian Bergquist (Superior, WI) 9-3, then won 8-1 against Greg Schatzman (Seattle, WA). Sobering went on to lose 10-9 against Benjamin Tucker (Grafton, ND). Sobering lost 10-5 to Mark Gulseth (Detroit Lakes, MN). Sobering lost 10-2 to Jeff Wright (Chicago, IL) where Sobering responded with a 8-1 win over Aaron Carlson (Midland, MI). Sobering won 7-2 against Guzman, then won 7-6 against Mark Olson (Janesville, WI) and 6-4 against Siggins in their final qualifying round match.
