Thiesse went on to lose 7-6 against Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN). Thiesse lost 11-4 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR) where Thiesse responded with a 12-4 win over Marianne Roervik (Oslo, NOR). Thiesse won 8-7 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER), then won 12-5 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Thiesse went on to lose 8-7 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Thiesse lost 9-3 to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN) where Thiesse responded with a 5-4 win over Hasselborg. Thiesse won 1-0 against Gina Aitken (Aberdeen, SCO), then won 9-5 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

Thiesse earned 31.019 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the BKT Tires & OK Tire World Womens Curling Championship, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 32nd place overall with 96.742 total points.
