To advance to the championship game, Howard won 6-5 over Sherry Middaugh (Woodstock , ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Ontario Scotties in Thornhill, Ontario;

Howard finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON) 11-1, then went on to lose 7-2 against Homan. Howard responded with a 8-2 win over Susan Froud (Alliston, ON). Howard won 9-2 against Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON), then won 8-6 against Danielle Inglis (Mississauga, ON). Howard went on to lose 10-3 against Middaugh. Howard responded with a 7-4 win over Calissa Daly (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Howard take home 20.543 world rankings points, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 40th place overall with 77.338 total points. Howard ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.338 points earned so far this season.
