Middaugh went on to lose 7-6 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON). Middaugh responded with a 9-3 win over Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON). Middaugh won 10-3 against Howard. Middaugh went on to lose 5-2 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Middaugh earned 15.874 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Scotties, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 155.282 total points. Middaugh ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 155.282 points earned so far this season.
