Benj Guzman (Wayland, MA) won 8-6 over Joseph Calabrese (Rochester, NY) in the Final of the GNCC Club Playdowns, held December 16 - 19, 2021 in Nashua, New Hampshire. To advance to the championship game, Guzman won 12-7 over Ivaylo Petrov (Plainfield, NJ) in the semifinals of the 2021 GNCC Club Playdowns in Nashua, New Hampshire;
 
Guzman finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guzman defeated Garth Mashmann (Durham, NC) 9-1, then won 13-12 against Dan Machold (Schenectady, NY) and 11-3 against Bill Morrison (Orlando, FL). Guzman went on to lose 9-4 against Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT) in their final qualifying round match.
