Joseph Calabrese (Rochester, NY) lost 8-6 to Benj Guzman (Wayland, MA) in the Final of the GNCC Club Playdowns, held December 16 - 19, 2021 in Nashua, New Hampshire. To advance to the championship game, Calabrese won 12-4 over Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT) in the semifinals
 
Calabrese finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calabrese defeated Evan Mullaney (Wayland, MA) 9-2, then won 9-1 against Dan Tufaro (Ardsley, NY). Calabrese went on to lose 9-4 against C. Brady Gould (Charlotte, NC). Calabrese lost 10-5 to Ivaylo Petrov (Plainfield, NJ) in their final qualifying round match.
