Scott Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) won 5-3 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Tankard, held February 9 - 13, 2022 in Port Elgin, Ontario.

Howard finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON) 7-6, then won 7-3 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 8-6 against Epping. Howard responded with a 7-4 win over Dylan Niepage (Guelph, ON) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 7-5 against Scott Mitchell (Whitby, ON) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
