Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) lost 6-4 to Vincent Roberge (LÃ©vis, QC) in the Final of the Finale du Circuit, held December 3 - 5, 2021 at the Aurèle Racine Curling Club in Tracy, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Fournier won 4-3 over Alek Bedard (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the 2021 Finale du Circuit in Tracy, Quebec, Canada; and won 8-2 over Yannick Martel (Sept-Iles, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Finale du Circuit in Tracy, Quebec, Canada;

Fournier finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fournier defeated Zackary Wise (Montreal , QC) 7-1, then won 6-1 against Robin Duguay (Thurso, QC) and 6-5 against Guy Hemmings (Aurele-Racine, QC). Fournier went on to lose 6-3 against Martel in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Finale du Circuit, Fournier take home 12.910 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN prize, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 145.193 total points. Fournier ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.031 points earned so far this season.
