Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) run at the 2022 Chubu Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-6 loss to Minato Hayamizu (Karuizawa, JPN). of the 2022 Chubu Curling Championships in Chubu, Japan;

Morozumi finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morozumi defeated Hirotaka Ishikuro (Karuizawa, JPN) 17-1, then won 8-1 against Kazuya Uehara (Karuizawa, JPN) and 7-2 against Hayamizu. Morozumi went on to lose 7-5 against Riku Yanagisawa (karuizawa, JPN). Morozumi responded with a 11-5 win over Hitoshi Ishihara (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Morozumi earned 2.231 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Chubu Curling Championships, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 141st place overall with 17.122 total points. Morozumi ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.122 points earned so far this season.
