Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR) won 10-7 over Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, held November 20 - 27, 2021 in Lillehammer, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Rorvik won 10-3 over Hetty Garnier (Kent, ENG) in the semifinals of the 2022 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Lillehammer, Norway;
Rorvik finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rorvik defeated Lithuania's Virginija Paulauskaite 6-3, then won 8-2 against Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT) and 12-2 against Irantzu Garcia (Vitoria-Gasteiz, ESP). Rorvik won 11-1 against Ajda Zaveljcina (Ljubliana, SLO). Rorvik went on to lose 7-6 against Agi Szentannai (Budapest, HUN). Rorvik responded with a 8-3 win over Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK). Rorvik won 9-4 against Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 9-5 against Garnier. Rorvik went on to lose 10-4 against Barone in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships Championship title, Rorvik earned 26.399 world rankings points, moving up 51 spots the World Ranking Standings into 74th place overall with 39.756 total points. Rorvik ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.493 points earned so far this season.
