Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) lost 10-7 to Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, held November 20 - 27, 2021 in Lillehammer, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Barone won 10-2 over Agi Szentannai (Budapest, HUN) in the semifinals

Barone finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barone defeated Ajda Zaveljcina (Ljubliana, SLO) 8-6, then went on to lose 10-2 against Szentannai. Barone lost 11-2 to Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT) where Barone responded with a 6-4 win over Lithuania's Virginija Paulauskaite. Barone went on to lose 8-5 against Hetty Garnier (Kent, ENG). Barone responded with a 10-2 win over Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK). Barone won 10-4 against Irantzu Garcia (Vitoria-Gasteiz, ESP), then won 10-7 against Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 10-4 against Rorvik in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, Barone take home 19.359 world rankings points, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 48.593 total points. Barone ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 42.356 points earned so far this season.
