Retornaz won 8-4 against James Craik (Stirling, SCO), then won 5-1 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, Retornaz take home 20.589 world rankings points along with the $2,480CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 14th place overall with 183.915 total points.
